Welcome to the New ASA Website
The release of our new website coincides with the launch of ASA’s new corporate visual identity. Together, the new website and new visual identity underscore our commitment to helping you achieve clinical excellence and promote patient safety.
We hope you find yourself wanting to spend a lot of time on the new and improved ASA website.
But you certainly won’t need to.
The site in front of you offers a vastly improved user experience. The information you need is easier to find, access and share. It offers a dynamic platform through which you can more easily consume content, take action on important issues facing the specialty and manage your account. And the process for new members to join online has been much-improved.
A website is a crucial touchpoint for any organization. It says volumes about your identity. We’re confident that our website’s dynamic interface, wealth of quality information and ease of use demonstrate the society’s position as a leader within and outside of medicine.
We’d like to thank the many ASA members and society leaders for their input in this redesign. It was an intense and multi-faceted collaborative process involving hundreds of talented individuals. But each was driven only by one goal: helping you to do your job better so that you can better care for your patients.
As with all change, it may take a short time to get used to the new site. But over the last few months, through member focus groups, surveys, individual interviews and a wide variety of user experience exercises, we’ve had an opportunity to study how you want your website to look, feel and operate, and we’ve incorporated those learnings into the new site.
Please let us know what you think about the new site by clicking the yellow FEEDBACK tab available on every page. The task of maintaining a quality website is never-ending, and it can’t be done without your input.
